We offer shipping via FedEx and UPS carriers. Ground, Home Delivery (where available), Next Day Air, Second Day Air, and Express Saver (where available). In certain cases we may rely on other carriers. All of our shipping methods require a signature upon delivery. All packages are sent with full insurance. Please refer to your checkout for exact prices of the different shipping options available for your order. Some larger and/or heavier items have less shipping options available due to carrier restrictions on the size and weight of packages. Shipping fees are paid to the carrier so they are non-refundable. Free shipping orders will be shipped according to the carrier of our preference. Free shipping option does not apply to orders shipped outside the continental United States.
We do ship to APO/FPO addresses on smaller items, however these items must be shipped via USPS, and some of our larger items are too big to be shipped to an APO/FPO. Please e-mail us to confirm whether we can ship your order to an APO/FPO and to receive a shipping quote. Orders for APO/FPO addresses will be emailed a GoogleCheckout invoice to collect payment.
We also ship to Canada via USPS, please email us if you would like to purchase from Canada. Just mention the item you would like to purchase and include your postal code. For all Canadian purchases, we accept payments via GoogleCheckout or bank transfer only.
In order to provide you with our best possible prices, HomBasics.com ships merchandise from multiple warehouses across the country. While most items on our website are in stock, some items may take longer to ship. In most cases, orders are subject to a processing time of 1-5 business days for approval before reaching the shipping department. Each individual item on our website will have a shipping time estimate for that item. In the event that an order is placed for an item that we no longer have in stock, we will promptly contact you. HomBasics does not charge orders until they have shipped.
Once an order has been placed, it will be shipped to the shipping address entered in the invoice. We cannot change the shipping address after the order is placed. If you would like to change the shipping address of an order after it was placed, the order must be cancelled and re-placed with the correct information.

All returns must be issued an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) to initiate the return process. No exchanges will be authorized for any packages returned without an RMA number to HomBasics.com The customer assumes responsibility for product until receipt at HomBasics.com, shipping via an insurable carrier is recommended. All returns must include original box, manuals, and accessories. Returned merchandise without an RMA number will be refused and any unauthorized shipping charges will be billed to the customer. To obtain an RMA number, fill out a Return Authorization Request form and include the reason for your return, we will process your request and supply you with RMA information and a return address. HomBasics does not issue refund RMAs on used/opened merchandise.
We will accept returns of any merchandise that is still brand new, un-used and in re-sellable condition. The item must be returned within 14 days from the date it was delivered. You would be given a refund minus a 10% re-stock fee, minus actual shipping charges, and the customer is responsible for return shipping charges to us. Returning used/opened merchandise may be subject to a 35% re-stocking fee. Shipping fees charged in orders were paid to the carrier and are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to take as long as 21 days after receiving your returned item to process your refund.
All products sold on HomBasics are brand new, retail from the manufacturer. HomBasics.com offers a 30 day warranty on all products sold. After 30 days from the order date, customers will have to seek warranty service from the product's manufacturer. If the product fails within the warranty time frame, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. If the product is not repairable, and a replacement model is no longer available, we reserve the right to replace the product with a similar product of equal or greater value. This 30 day warranty does not cover damage as a result of abuse, mutilation, acts of god, improper installation, water damage, or damage resulting using the product outside of the manufacture's recommended parameters and applications.
For any warranty issue, you are responsible for shipping to us, and we will pay for return shipping back to you. Merchandise damaged during shipping must be informed of within 10 days of the delivery date. Proceeding to use merchandise that was damaged in transit commits you to ownership of the merchandise in the state it was received; voiding warranty.
